Group Puppy Class

1 hr In-Person Group Classes once a week for 7 weeks - $299 plus gst

Puppies must be 6 months of age or younger at the start of class 

**NEW** Beginning late October classes will be held in Westsyde

Classes are scheduled when the minimum number of students can attend the same day/time

All classes are taught using positive reinforcement based training methods.

Owning a new puppy can be exciting but also overwhelming. This class will help set you and your new puppy on the right path to success in their training journey.  

Your puppy starts learning and developing behaviours and habits the day you bring them home. It is much easier to teach a dog to DO something than it is to teach them to stop doing something.

Covers topics such as

• Puppy specific issues - biting, jumping up and potty training
• Foundation behaviours - sit, down, name, stay (release word), impulse control, crate/mat training, hand targets, how to play with your dog (tug & drop) and the start of loose leash walking and recall
• Life skill behaviours to assist with vet visits, grooming & other human handling.
• Starting to build value and engagement with you, even around distractions such as other people and dogs.

All exercises are progressive and skills are built from the first class to the last. Please ensure you can attend all classes in a set. Please be sure to read our cancellation & class policies here
