Agility Classes
Interested in the FUN and exciting sport of dog agility?
Or maybe you've already begun playing and want to continue learning and having FUN.
Agility is open to all breeds of dogs and is a great game to play for connection & relationship building. Not to mention it is great mental and physical exercise for both the dog and the handler!
We offer classes & lessons for those just beginning as well as those with some foundation skills already established who want to continue building their skills.
Courses offered (or coming soon) with details below:

Please note, all 'classes' are for dogs that can work in a group setting.
For those dogs with big feels around other dogs you may still be able to play via Private/Semi-Private Lessons and Drop-in course work!
Agility FUNdamentals
Open to dogs over 5 months old
6 weekly classes, $270 plus gst
Location: SRD K9s Facility at 101 - 780 Windosr Ave
Whether you're just looking to have some FUN and build your relationship or you are wanting to work towards competing with your dog in agility, this is our foundation class to get started.
This class is a prerequisite for Agility FUNdamentals 2

Agility FUNdamentals 2
Open to dogs over 10 months old
6 weekly classes, $270 plus gst
Location: Outside in Westsyde
NOTE: Yard is fully fenced but not fully for small dogs (cat sized)
Prerequisites:
- Agility FUNdamentals or Level 1 equivalent elsewhere
- Dogs/handlers should be started on front crosses and two on, two off stopped contact basics.
- No contact equipment experience required
Build upon the skills you learned in Agility FUNdamentals.
Continuation of handling skills, introductions to some contact equipment and short sequencing

Private / Semi-Private Agility Lessons
Private and Semi-Private Lessons are held outside in a fully fenced yard in Westsyde
NOTE: Lesson location may not be suitable for people/dog reactive dogs. Yard is fully fenced but not fully for small dogs (cat sized)
Lessons are available for those just getting started in Agility to those in the Advanced Levels of competition.
All equipment other than the teeter and dog walk can be available. Teeter and Dog Walk will be available in spring 2026.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons do not come with any written homework or follow-up
Private Agility Lessons
45 min - $75 plus gst
Available Thursdays 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Semi-Private Agility Lessons
1 hour - $50 plus gst (per student) *2 students per time slot*

Drop-in Agility - Full Course FUN
60 min - $42 plus gst
Location: Outside in Westsyde. Yard is fully fenced but not fully for small dogs (cat sized)
First class of the night helps with set up & last class helps with take down.
**Location may be challenging for dog or people reactive dogs**
Each Drop-in session will have a full agility course set up. Most sessions will be a Standard or Jumpers course but there will be occasional Snooker or Gamblers themed sessions. Courses will also be level based: Starters or Advanced.
We will:
- Discuss the rules/objective of the game if applicable & handlers are new to the game (snooker/gamblers especially)
- Walk the course together to discuss handling options
- Break the course down into smaller sequences to run based on current skill level
- Run the full course (if ready)
Starters Courses:
- For those that have only taken one or two agility classes
- Have basic handling techniques (ex. front cross) and may be new or just started to sequence obstacles
- All courses except jumpers have the possibility of having contact equipment and/or weaves but can be omitted
Advanced Courses:
- For those that have more advanced handling techniques like push backs and threadles
- All courses except jumpers will have contact equipment and/or weaves but can be omitted
These drop in sessions are for those that have taken agility classes in the past, would like to have some FUN, and practice the skills they have with some guidance and feedback. These are not training classes.
*If your dog has not learned contact equipment or weaves, they will be omitted when you run your course*
