Group Basic Manners

1 Hr in person group classes once a week for 7 weeks - $299 plus gst

Class Location: TBD

Suitable for dogs over 8 months of age. This class is not suitable for dogs that bark at people and/or dogs (reactivity/aggression). This includes overexcited and fearful barking dogs. Please start with a Private Lesson to set you up for the best success in a group class environment or look into our Private Class options.

Covers topics such as

• Foundation behaviours - sit, down, name, stay (release word), impulse control, crate/place training, hand targets, how to play with your dog (tug & drop), and the start of loose leash walking and recall
• Life skill behaviours to assist with vet visits, grooming & other human handling.
• Starting to build value and engagement with you, even around distractions such as other people and dogs.
• Learn about dog body language and what your dog is trying to communicate

All exercises are progressive and skills are built from the first class to the last. Please ensure you can attend all classes in a set. Please be sure to read our cancellation & class policies here
