Private Dog Training

Private training options are for you and your dog if:

• You are looking for more 1-on-1 instruction with a Professional Dog Trainer
• Your dog isn't comfortable in a group environment
• Your schedule doesn't work with group classes 
• You would like your dog to have 1-on-1 time with a Professional Dog Trainer (some services)

Service areas with additional travel fee for each lesson include: Sun Peaks, Heffley,  Pinantan Lake, Pritchard, Chase, Cherry Creek, Tobiano, Savona, Logan Lake & Merritt.

Usually more than one lesson will be required to ensure proper progress is being made This could include taking your learned behaviours to harder, more distracting, places while having your trainer there to assist. It is recommended to have your lessons 10 to 14 days apart.

Once you are feeling confident in the new skills you and your dog have learned, many students move to Private 1-on-1 Walks to practice in the real world with your trainer there to continue guiding you and giving feedback, tips & tricks.

Private lessons are a great option for:

• Puppy start right - begin training your new puppy as soon as you have them. The first lesson can even be done BEFORE getting your puppy. Covers topics such as puppy socializing, body language, potty training, crate/mat training, puppy biting, jumping up along with basic manners topics below.
• Basic manners - sit, down, stay (release word), impulse control, release word etc.
• Demanding/Begging
• Counter Surfing / Stealing Items
• Crates or Confinement 
• Leash skills
• Recall 
• Leash Reactivity/Over-arousal
• Cooperative Care for Vet or Grooming
• Confidence Building
